Our friends – Rich, Rich and Roscoe – were jailed for 15 and 16 months for their actions to stop fracking in England. They are appealing these unprecedented sentences. The appeal has been expedited and will be heard at the Court of Appeal on Wednesday 17 October at 10am. We want you to join us outside of court before the hearing to show your solidarity, and show that we won’t stand for our rights to protest being eroded.
These guys took action because they get the big picture, they wanted to support folks in Lancashire, and they know that fossil fuel exploitation at home is going to affect millions of vulnerable people worldwide. If you live far away, or can contribute more directly to the resistance against fracking in England (especially at Preston New Road in Lancashire) – then we’d say don’t come to this demo.
